Joseph found in preceding research that senior rats fed a diet of 2 percent blueberry or strawberry extract, high in antioxidants, experienced reversals of deficits related to age, in the manner in which nerve cells functions. Low concentrations (say 5-10%) are usually the staple of the (heavily sold) over the counter creams and typically contain glycolic acid, one of the five kinds of AHAs.
